Millet Recipes

Millet-based recipes have been used in India for a long time. I’ve several millet recipes that you can try, like Jowar Khichdi, Kuttu ke Pakore, and Ragi Idli. I’ve tried to use several kinds of millets in these recipes, including Jowar, Bajra, Ragi, Kuttu, and Rajgira.

A delicious, warming, and nutritious recipe from Rajasthan, Bajra Khichdi (Bajre Ki Khichdi, Pearl Millet Khichdi) is made using bajra (pearl millet), rice, and lentils. It is a wholesome dish that is a winter favorite (vegetarian, can be easily made vegan or gluten-free).
