    What is Scrambled Egg Whites?

Soft egg whites scramble flavored with lots of dried herbs, garlic, salt, and pepper, this dish is perfect for your easy peasy and healthy weekday breakfast.

As Eggs are high in protein, I make sure to include it in our everyday meals, and adding it to Breakfast is my favorite way to incorporate them. From Omelettes to Scrambled Eggs to simple Boiled Eggs, there are many breakfast recipes that you can try, but this Egg Whites Scramble is my husband’s favorite.

This Low Cal (99 Kcal per serving) dish is flavored with dried herbs and gets ready in less than 15 minutes. I like to load it with lots of garlic, as I feel the flavor of garlic takes this simple scramble recipe to a level higher in terms of taste.

If you are like me, who on some days have really less time on hand in the morning to make breakfast, then this simple recipe is perfect for you. Just serve it with nice toast bread and you are good to go.

Want to make it a little more healthy? Then stir in some spinach or kale or cherry tomatoes too!

    This Egg Whites Scramble is,

    • High in Protein
    • Soft
    • Super Easy
    • A 10-minute affair
    • A perfect weekday breakfast

    Ingredients

    Scrambled Egg White Ingredients.

Eggs – Extremely high in protein, this is a great ingredient to add to your breakfast. Use fresh eggs and make sure that they are not very old.

Garlic – I feel finely chopped garlic is a must in this recipe. It adds a lot of flavors, which makes the eggs extra delicious. You can skip it too if you are not fond of the garlicky taste.

Dried Herbs – We will flavor it with some of my favorite Italian herbs such as dry parsley, oregano, and rosemary. Want to make it spicy, add in some red chili flakes too.

Salt and Pepper – Finally, add salt and pepper to taste and make this soft Egg Whites Scramble.

How to make Egg Whites Scramble?

Heat olive oil in a non-stick frying pan. When the oil is hot, add garlic and fry for a few seconds, until they turn slightly brown.

    Garlic added in olive oil.

Add dried parsley, rosemary, and oregano in the pan.

Dried herbs added in the pan.

Add egg whites, salt, pepper and keep mixing the whites with a spatula so that they don’t form lumps.

Egg whites, salt and pepper added in the pan.

Switch off the heat once the whites are 80% done. They will cook further with the heat in the pan.

    Ready scrambled egg whites.

    Variations

You can add some cheddar cheese to make your egg white more flavourful and cheesy.

You can also add a few tablespoon of milk or cream to your egg whites before adding them in the pan.

Try adding some spinach and tomatoes to the egg whites for a nice crunch.

Give it an Indian twist by adding spices like red chili powder, turmeric powder, finely chopped onion, green chili, and fresh coriander.

    Serving Suggestions

Serve this Egg Whites Scramble along with a toast and a fresh juice on the side for your everyday breakfast. It also tastes great with some fresh Pav instead of bread.

If you want something fancy, then you can serve it with Toast, Avocado, Beans, Sausages, and Crispy Bacon on the side. Sauteed tomatoes and spinach also go great with this.

A good shaving of Parmesan Cheese will take it to another level.

    Appliances Required

This is a fairly simple breakfast recipe and you will need a good non-stick frying pan and an egg white separator to cook it in no time.
