Ingredients

Cilantro garlic sauce ingredients

Sour Cream – Use homemade Full-Fat Sour Cream or buy a tub.

You can replace sour cream with whole-milk Greek yogurt or plain yogurt to make the sauce healthier.

Mayonnaise – A little mayo makes the sauce extra creamy. Use low-fat or full-fat mayonnaise, whichever you like.

You can replace mayonnaise with cream cheese for a taste change.

Cilantro – Use fresh cilantro for the best taste and increase the quantity for a more robust herb flavor.

Others – You will also need garlic cloves, extra virgin olive oil, freshly squeezed lime juice (or freshly squeezed lemon juice), red pepper flakes, and salt to make this creamy cilantro sauce recipe.

If you are a garlic fan, use a few more garlic cloves than mentioned in the recipe. You can also use roasted rather than raw garlic for a deeper flavor.

Replace extra virgin olive oil with avocado oil or grapeseed oil.

Add fresh herbs like green onions, parsley, etc to this recipe.

Add a half-chopped and de-seeded jalapeno pepper while blending to make the sauce spicier.
