About This Recipe
Cold coffee is a creamy and popular cold beverage, that has mainly three ingredients – instant coffee, milk, and sugar. Also called cold coffee shake or cold coffee milkshake, it is a perfect drink to sip on during hot days of summers.
The best part of this cafe-style cold coffee is the frothy layer on top, which makes it taste even more appealing. This recipe will give you the exact same coffee, that you might have enjoyed in different cafes or restaurants. You just need a few ingredients and it will get ready in under 5 minutes.
If you like it to be a little more rich and chocolaty, then add in some cocoa powder or chocolate syrup while blending. Sometimes, I even add a little vanilla ice cream or chocolate ice cream to make it a little thick and creamy. You can try it too!
This Cafe Style Coffee is,

- Easy to make
- Creamy

Ingredients

Coffee Powder – You can use any instant coffee powder of your choice to make this drink. You can even go for cold brew or filter coffee. I prefer to use instant coffee powder, as it is easily available, easy to use, and tastes delicious.
Milk – For the creamiest version of coffee, use full cream (whole) milk. You can even use low-fat milk or skim milk, but the texture won’t be as creamy as the full cream one.
For a vegan version, instead of dairy milk, you can go for non-dairy options such as almond milk, soy milk, coconut milk, oats milk, or any other vegan milk that you prefer.
Sugar – Add sugar as per your taste. You can increase or decrease the quantity of the same.
Milk Powder – The addition of milk powder, will add an extra creamy texture to your coffee. In case you are making a vegan version, you can just skip adding it.
Ice Cubes – Throw in a few ice cubes while blending. It is an essential step to get the frothy coffee.

Pro Tips By Neha
If you want the coffee to be stronger, then increase the quantity of instant coffee powder and vice versa.
If you want to make it thick and creamy, then add in a scoop of vanilla or chocolate ice cream in the coffee.
Make it fresh and serve. The frothy top tends to go away if kept for longer.
You can add in some chocolate syrup or cocoa powder along with instant coffee powder, to make it a little more chocolaty.

Quick and delicious. There are so many ways to “dress up” the basic recipe if you so desire, but it’s great just as is.
