There are days when Mohit and I like to go carb-free for dinner. For such days, I like to make something with chicken, fish, tofu, or paneer and serve it with a nice salad.
This fish recipe is great when you are looking to make something delicious and healthy. It requires minimal clean-up and comes together in no time.
About Honey Garlic Fish
As the name suggests, Honey Garlic Fish is fish cooked in a honey garlic-flavored sauce.
It is a great dinner dish that comes together in under 20 minutes using simple ingredients. Serve it with steamed rice or quinoa for a comforting meal. You can also serve it with salad to keep it healthy.
Ingredients
Fish – I used boneless basa pieces, but you can use any white fish. Cod, tilapia, halibut, sole, grouper, etc., work great in this recipe. You can also use salmon if you wish to.
Instead of fish pieces, you can use fish fillets.
To make the sauce, you will need light olive oil, honey, garlic, dark soy sauce, black pepper powder, and lime juice.
Garnish the dish with chopped green onions.
How To Make Honey And Garlic Fish

Add 2 tablespoon light olive oil and let the oil heat up.
Place the fish pieces on the heated pan in a single layer and cook for a minute on each side.

I did not add salt to this recipe as the soy sauce is very salty. If you feel the salt is less for you, add it as per your taste.

Do you think this would taste good over sautéed cabbage? Would it be a good idea to double the sauce and mix it all together or is there enough sauce as written. Thanks!
It will taste great with sauteed cabbage. You can double the sauce if you wish to.
