    About Iced Vanilla Latte

An Iced Vanilla Latte is a coffee beverage made using strong brewed coffee, milk of choice, vanilla-flavored syrup, and lots of ice.

This drink is popularly served at Starbucks. For coffee lovers, this Starbucks copycat recipe is a great way to enjoy this coffee beverage at a fraction of the price.

I tried my hands at making this Starbucks Copycat drink at home, and believe me, the result was fabulous.

Making Starbucks Copycat Iced vanilla Latte in the comfort of your own home is super easy, and it comes together in under 5 minutes using 3 simple ingredients. You also don’t need any special equipment to make this tasty drink.

The homemade one is also prepared with high-quality ingredients, and you can always adjust the quantity of the ingredients according to your taste. It is also much more economical to make at home too.

This iced coffee recipe is vegetarian and gluten-free and can be easily made vegan. You can easily scale the recipe too.

Enjoy this refreshing drink on a hot summer day!

Here are some more coffee drinks that you may like

    Ingredients

    Iced vanilla latte ingredients.

Coffee – You will need strongly brewed coffee. I like to use my French Press Cold Brew Coffee to make this drink, but you can brew the coffee however you like. Mocha pot, simple brew machine, Aeropress, or any method works fine. Instant coffee dissolved in water can be used too.

If you have an espresso machine, then 2 shots of chilled espresso also work well in this recipe.

Get freshly ground coffee beans from Starbucks for a very close taste.

Milk – I like to use whole milk to make my latte, as it turns out nice and creamy. You can use half and half, skim milk, or fat-free milk for this coffee

If you want a vegan version, you can substitute the dairy milk with almond milk, soy milk, coconut milk, oat milk, or any other dairy-free (plat-based milk) option.

Vanilla Syrup – Make the vanilla syrup at home or use store-bought vanilla syrup.

To make homemade vanilla syrup, add 1 cup of sugar (white sugar or brown sugar) to a pan along with ½ cup of water. Cook on medium heat until sugar is dissolved, stirring a few times. Remove the pan from heat and let the syrup cool down. Add 2 teaspoon vanilla extract (or 1 scraped vanilla bean) and mix well. Transfer to a glass bottle and refrigerate for up to 1 month. Use as required.

Want to add more flavor to the iced latte? Add in a little ground cinnamon. It really adds a unique flavor to the vanilla iced coffee.

You can also freeze some brewed coffee in ice cube trays and use the coffee cubes to make the latte in place of some of the plain ice cubes. This trick will not dilute your cold coffee drink as you sip on it.

How To Make Iced Vanilla Latte

Fill 2 tall glasses with ice.

    Glass filled with ice.

Pour ½ cup brewed coffee (preferably at room temperature), ¼ cup milk, and 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup into each glass and stir gently.

Coffee and vanilla syrup added to the glass.

Note – You can adjust the amount of milk and vanilla syrup as per your taste.

    Serve immediately.
