About Oregano Seasoning

This Oregano Seasoning is a copycat version of Domino’s oregano seasoning, provided in small sachets with pizzas.

It is easy to make at home, needs minimal ingredients, and comes together in 5 minutes.

When made at home, this spice mix is free of artificial colors and flavors. Apart from sprinkling it over pizzas, you can use it in millions of ways. I have listed some ideas in the post below.

This seasoning is vegan and gluten-free.

Ingredients

This recipe requires just a few ingredients: garlic powder, black pepper powder, dried oregano, dried basil leaves, dried rosemary, red pepper flakes, and salt.

These ingredients are mostly available in almost all homes. If not, you can get them from any grocery store.

How To Make Oregano Seasoning

Add the following ingredients to a dry mortar and pestle and crush slightly.

  • 2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper powder
  • ½ tablespoon dried oregano
  • ½ tablespoon dried basil leaves
  • ¼ teaspoon dried rosemary
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon salt

Note – Crushing the ingredients together gently ensures all the flavors come together.

Store the seasoning in the refrigerator in an air-tight container for about two months. Use it as required.
