    About This Recipe

    Eggs are scrambled with fresh cream to make moist, creamy and delicious scrambled eggs. This is the easiest breakfast you can make with minimal ingredients, if you get it right. 

    Make sure you cook the eggs on low heat and while cooking always pull the cooking edges from the outside to the centre. 

    Eggs are delicate and they cook very fast, so make sure you stop the cooking when they are 90 percent done. Take them out of the pan, because they might cook more from the carryover heat.

    Perfect Scrambled Eggs Ingredients

    Eggs – Great source of protein, this is a must ingredient that should be included in your breakfast as it is filling and also provides you the energy to kick start the day.

    Fresh Cream – To make this scrambled eggs rich, we have added fresh cream. If you want a lighter version of the same, you can add milk instead. 

    Salt and Pepper – To slightly spice it up, we have added black pepper powder along with salt. If you want it to be more spicy, you can even sprinkle some red chilli flakes at the end.

    Step By Step Recipe

    Whisk the eggs in a bowl till light and fluffy. Add salt and pepper and whisk well.

    When the butter is hot, add the whisked eggs and fresh cream. Simmer the heat to low.

    Using a spatula, start to pull the slightly cooked outer edges towards the centre of the pan.

    Cook until eggs are 90% cooked. Do not overcook as the eggs will keep cooking even after removing from the flame. Serve hot, topped on a slice of bread.

    Which skillet is best to make scrambled eggs?

    You can use a non stick pan or a steel pan to make scrambled eggs. Don’t use cast iron pan, as they holds heat and will continue to cook your eggs even after you switch off the heat. The eggs might also react as there is sulphur present in the egg whites and can give a greenish shade to the eggs.

    Also use a silicon spatula to cook the perfect egg scramble. 

    Which eggs are best to make egg scramble?

    Use good quality fresh eggs to make this creamy scramble. 

    Serving Suggestions

    They taste great on its own! Just top them up with fresh tomato sauce and green onions. You can even serve it along with a Toast and a side of Coffee or Fresh Juice.

    You can top the eggs on a toast with some Avocados or Cherry Tomatoes to make an Egg Avocado Toast or Tomato Egg Toast.

    Include these scrambled eggs as a side in your English Breakfast along with Sausages, Beans, Grilled Vegetables etc. 

    You can even stuff them inside Breakfast Quesadillas along with spinach, mushrooms and feta cheese or stuff them inside a roll or a wrap. 

    Put them between two bread and toast/grill them until they are crips. Add a slice of cheese inside the sandwich for a extra cheesy goodness.

    Can you freeze Scrambled Eggs?

    Yes, you can freeze them and they taste great once you reheat them again. Once it is cooled down properly, pack them in zip lock freezer bags per serving. Thaw them in the refrigerator overnight and heat them in microwave the next morning.

    If you want your eggs to be rich, use fresh cream, but if you want them light and fluffy, you can use milk instead.

    Use a high quality non stick pan and a silicon spatula to make this recipe. Trust me it will make a lot of difference.

    Take them out of the pan once they are 90 percent cooked, as they might cook more from the heat left in the pan and can turn drier. 

    Variations

    Cheesy – For this version, add soft or shredded cheeses like goat cheese or cheddar cheese to the eggs just before they finish cooking. The heat from all the cooking will melt the cheese into the eggs.

    Spinach or Dill Leaves – Add in freshly chopped dill leaves or spinach to the egg mixture and then pour it in the pan.

    With Sausages – Cook the sausages with onions for 4 to 5 minutes, before you add in the egg scramble mixture.

    Spicy – You can add in some red chilli flakes, to make a spicy version of the same along with black pepper powder.

    Bacon – Cook the bacon until nice and crispy, before adding it in the scrambled eggs mixture.
