Spinach is often used as a base, since it is mild on the stomach and has a gentle taste. Pear is a natural sweetener and ginger the spice. Ice can be avoided, but frozen pear can more than make up for the chill. Besides the main ingredients, you can even add a few flax seeds directly or soak them in water for a few hours and add them.
Pear Ginger Green Smoothie
- Low fat yogurt - 1 cup
- Low fat milk - 1 cup
- Pear - 1 cup ( Diced )
- Ginger - ½ tsp ( Grated )
- Spinach - 1 cup
- Honey - 2-3 tbsp
- Add all the ingredients in the jar of a blender.
- Blend well to make smooth smoothie.
- Serve chilled.
- You can add a few ice cubes if you like it chilled.
