Celery is one of the most nutritious vegetables, as it is rich in Vitamins and Minerals, giving us a lot of health benefits.
Therefore, I make sure to include it in my everyday smoothies and also make sure that my family has it too.
Most of the people drink shots of celery juice on an empty stomach in the morning, as it helps in digestion, but if you find it difficult to consume that way, this smoothie is a great option.

What is Celery Smoothie?
Celery Cucumber Smoothie is a yummy combination of fruits and vegetables such as Celery, Banana, Ginger, Cucumber, and orange Juice, which are blended together to get a creamy smoothie.
If you want to increase the sweetness in the smoothie, you can add dates too.
You can even add other fruits/vegetables such as strawberry, pear or carrot and experiment with the taste of this smoothie.
You can replace orange juice with apple juice and make a celery apple smoothie.
Add a few pieces of fresh apple while blending the smoothie if you wish.
Benefits & Side Effects Of Celery
While Celery provides us many health benefits, eating it in more quantity can cause harm to your body too.
Excess intake of celery can lead to allergic reactions such as skin inflammation and sunburn.
Though it has high salt content and is very low in calories, it can lead you to malnutrition.
Also, it is high in fibre, thought fibre is good for our body, excess of it can lead to bloating, gas and other digestive problems.

- 4 stalk Celery (Chopped)
- 1 Banana (Peeled, cubed and frozen)
- 1 inch Ginger (Chopped)
- ½ cup Cucumber (Peeled and cubed)
- 1 cup Orange Juice (Chilled)
- Add all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Serve immediately.
