About Chocolate Lassi
I had a friend visiting me yesterday evening, and I wanted to serve her something refreshing as the days are really hot. So, I made this delicious chocolate lassi for her.
This lassi is a variation of the classic sweet Lassi with chocolate added. It comes together quickly using a few simple ingredients.
You can serve it as an evening snack or any time during the day when you feel like sipping something refreshing. Kids will love this drink, too.
Ingredients
Yogurt – For the best texture and consistency, use full-fat yogurt to make lassi. You can also use Greek yogurt as an alternative.
If using homemade yogurt, make sure it’s not too sour.
Sweetened Condensed Milk makes the lassi rich and thick and also adds sweetness.
Chocolate – I prefer Cadbury’s, but you can use any chocolate you like.
Others – You will also need whole milk (full-fat milk), sugar, and water.
You can adjust the amount of sugar as per your taste.
How To Make Chocolate-Flavored Lassi
Step 1: Add 2 tablespoon whole milk, 2 tablespoon sweetened condensed milk, and 50 g chocolate (chopped) to a nonstick pan and cook over medium heat until the chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth. Stir frequently.

Step 2: Remove the pan from the heat and let the mixture cool down to room temperature.
Step 3: Whisk together 3 cups of chilled plain yogurt, 2 cups of chilled water, and ยผ cup of sugar in a bowl using a wire whisk until the mixture is frothy and the sugar is dissolved.

Step 4: Add the cooled chocolate mixture to the bowl and whisk until combined.

Step 5: Pour the chocolate lassi into serving glasses and add a few ice cubes to each glass.
Step 6: Garnish with chocolate curls and serve chilled.

Chocolate Lassi FAQs
Scrape the side of the chocolate bar with a vegetable peeler to obtain chocolate curls that can be used as a garnish. Use a thick bar for more pronounced curls.
Chocolate Lassi tastes best when served fresh. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge in a covered container for about a day. Shake well before consuming.
