Pumpkin – Use canned pumpkin puree or make it at home using my easy Pumpkin Puree Recipe.

Pumpkin Pie Spice – Make it at home using my easy recipe, or buy a jar.

Sugar Syrup – You can also use sweeteners like maple syrup or sugar-free substitutes.

Pumpkin spice syrup is also a great solution. Make sure to skip adding additional pumpkin spice to the recipe if using pumpkin spice syrup instead of simple syrup.

Bailey’s – The Irish cream adds a rich and creamy flavor to this fall cocktail.

You can replace it with pumpkin spice Irish cream liqueur or rumchata. Remember to reduce the pumpkin spice quantity in the recipe, as these two have already added spices.

Vodka – The base of this pumpkin martini recipe is vodka. I used plain vodka (Stoli Vanilla, Absolut Vanilla, or Grey Goose Vanilla) but you can buy any flavors that go well with the pumpkin spice like vanilla vodka, caramel vodka, or whipped cream vodka.

Vanilla – Use a good quality vanilla extract for the best taste.

For Rimming – Rim the serving glasses with maple syrup, castor sugar, and pumpkin spice mix.

Whipped Cream – It is optional, but I like to garnish my drink with just a dollop of whipped cream.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use pumpkin pie filling in place of real pumpkin puree?

Yes, you can. But since the pie filling has sweetener and warm spices already added, skip adding them to the recipe.

Pro Tips By Neha

Use martini glasses to serve the drink. It has a large rim, and you can enjoy the spiced sugar throughout your drink.

Chilling the glasses before pouring the cocktail ensures the drink stays chilled for longer.

Use the leftover spiced sugar (rimming sugar) in your coffee or tea.

This cocktail recipe can be easily doubled or tripled.

Graham Cracker Rim – Rim the cocktail glass with graham cracker crumbs. Powder a few graham crackers in a grinder. Brush the glass rim with maple syrup and coat it with the crumbs.

Storage Suggestions

This drink tastes the best when made fresh, but if you have some leftovers, you can keep it in the refrigerator in an airtight container. It will stay fresh for around 2-3 days.

You can vacuum seal the pumpkin pie martini to keep it fresh for longer. This method will also help preserve the martini’s flavor and aroma.

You can also freeze this drink. Transfer the martini to an airtight container and freeze it for up to a month. Before serving, let it thaw in the refrigerator for a few hours.

Remember to shake the martini well before serving, as the ingredients may settle over time.
