About Oreo Hot Chocolate

Oreo Hot Chocolate is a delicious beverage made by combining two of your favorites – Hot Chocolate and Oreo Cookies.

This rich, creamy, and chocolaty drink is popularly served at Dunkin Donuts.

After multiple trials, I came up with a recipe that tastes very similar to Dunkin Donuts. It is super easy to make, uses only 4 ingredients, and comes together in under 10 minutes.

Serve this decadent drink on a cold winter evening to keep you warm from the inside.

I made this Oreo hot chocolate recipe in a pan over the stovetop but you can make it in an instant pot too.

You can also easily double or triple the recipe if making it for a crowd.

Ingredients

Oreo hot chocolate ingredients.

Milk – Use whole milk (full-fat milk) for the creamiest hot chocolate. Having said that, you can even opt for skim milk or low-fat milk.

To make a vegan version of this drink, use any plant-based milk (dairy-free milk) such as almond milk, coconut milk, oats milk, soy milk, etc.

Oreo Cookies – Use regular Oreo cookies to make this hot chocolate drink. These cookies are vegan-friendly, so if you are a vegan, feel free to use them.

Oreo also has gluten-free cookies. Use them to make this drink gluten-free.

Cocoa Powder – Unsweetened Dutch-processed cocoa powder is the best to make hot chocolate. I used Hershey’s but you can use any brand that you like.

Sugar – Adjust according to your taste.
