    About This Recipe

Rose soda is a refreshing summer drink, that has just 4 ingredients – rose syrup, sugar, lime juice, and club soda. This beverage is very cooling and gives instant relief from the scorching heat outside.

The main ingredient in rose soda is rose syrup, which is easily available in stores under various brands. Get your hands on a good quality one for the best taste. You can also make rose syrup at home using fresh roses if you are keen on making it from scratch.

Rose Lime Soda is a great twist to your regular lime soda and is the perfect drink to sip on hot summer days or to serve to your guests when they come to visit you. This unique beverage will surely impress your guests with its impeccable taste and freshening flavor.

    This Rose Lime Soda is,

    • Vegan
    • Easy + Quick
    • Refreshing
    • Bursting with rose flavor
    • Perfect for hot summer days

    Ingredients

    Rose soda ingredients.

This drink needs just 4 ingredients that are easily available in your nearby stores – rose syrup, sugar, club soda, and lime juice.

Indian stores have a huge variety of rose syrup available. Do get a good quality one, as it really impacts the flavor of this drink. I used Rooh-afza.

If you can get your hands on fresh red roses, then you prepare the syrup at home too. The homemade one is fresh, free of artificial colors and preservatives, which makes it better in taste and quality.

Always use freshly squeezed lime juice, for the best flavor.

Get regular and non-flavored club soda to make this drink. Add in ice cubes as required or if you want you can just skip it and add chilled soda instead.

You can add some fresh or dried rose petals to drink while serving. Want to make it more refreshing, then add in some mint leaves too.

    How to make Rose Soda?

Add ¼ cup rose syrup, 1 tablespoon lime juice and ¼ cup sugar to a measuring cup and whisk until the sugar is dissolved.

Rose syrup, sugar, lime juice mixed in a cup.

    Fill 4 glasses with ice.

Pour the rose mixture in the glasses equally.

Top the glasses with club soda. Serve immediately.

    Ready rose soda.

    Storing Suggestions

I would recommend you to make it fresh, as it hardly takes any time. If you store it, the soda will lose its fizz and won’t taste the same. You can make the rose mixture and refrigerate it for 5-6 days in an airtight container. When ready to serve, just add it to the glass and top it with club soda.
