About Green Apple Juice

Green Apple Juice (Granny Smith Apple Juice) is a 3 ingredient healthy summer drink made using fresh green apples, celery, and honey. It is simple to make, loaded with nutrients, and easily digestible.

One glass of this refreshing fresh apple juice will keep you refreshed and hydrated and provide instant energy.

Make the green apple juice recipe in a blender or a juicer, as you prefer. Remember that the juice made in a cold-pressed juicer is healthier than that made in a blender. When pressed slowly, more nutrients are retained as heat does not destroy them.

This recipe is gluten-free and vegetarian. It can easily be made vegan, too.

Green Apples (Granny Smith Apples) – The slightly sweet and tangy taste of these apples makes this juice very delicious.

Celery – Celery and green apples pair very well and have many health benefits.

Honey balance the tartness of the green apples. It is completely optional though. Replace it with maple syrup for a vegan version.

Frequently Asked Question

What is the best time to drink fresh Granny Smith apple juice?

The best time to drink this refreshing juice will be first thing in the morning. As your body is fasting from night, it absorbs the nutrients more effectively. It will also leave you hydrated and energized in the morning.
You can also enjoy it before or after your workout/exercise, as it will provide you with instant energy. Taking a sip of this juice mid-workout can also spike your energy levels.

How to cut an apple?

Firstly, cut the stem (top part) of the apple. Now, cut the apple in half from top to bottom. Cut one half vertically into half again, making two quarters. Remove the core using a sharp knife and slice the apples into pieces.

Should I peel the apple or not?

It depends on you! I don’t peel it, as the skin is loaded with rich nutrients and vitamins.

Storage Suggestions

Granny Smith apple juice tastes the best when served fresh. You can refrigerate it in an airtight container for 2-3 days, but it will lose its freshness and taste with time.

Freeze it instead! It will last for 3 to 6 months. The freezing process affects the juice’s taste, so taste it before serving it again.
