Ingredients
For The Habanero Infused Simple Syrup

You will need granulated sugar, water, and habanero chili to make the syrup.
To Rim The Glass

I used red chili powder and regular salt to rim the margarita glass.
For The Margarita

You will need fresh or frozen mangoes, tequila, orange-flavored liqueur like triple sec, grand mariner or Cointreau, and freshly squeezed lime juice.
You will also need lots of ice cubes to chill the cocktail.
The best tequila to use for mango margaritas is reposado tequila. A reposado tequila has been aged for at least two months, giving it a more mellow flavor that pairs well with the other ingredients in this recipe.
Having said that, use any tequila that is easily available to you.
How To Make Mango Habanero Margarita
Make The Habanero Infused Simple Syrup
Add ½ cup granulated sugar, ½ cup water, and half habanero pepper to a saucepan.

Cook on low heat until the sugar is dissolved, stirring frequently.

Remove the pan from the heat and let the habanero steep for 15 minutes.
Strain the mixture using a fine sieve into a lidded jar. Store in the fridge until ready for use. You will get ¾ cup of simple syrup which is good to make 4-5 servings of this drink.

Rim The Glasses
Mix together 1 teaspoon red chili powder and 1 teaspoon salt on a small plate.

Wet the rim of 2 margarita glasses by rubbing a lime wedge along the rim and then dip the rim in the chili powder/salt mixture.

Make The Margarita
Place 1 cup cubed mangoes and 3 oz (90 ml) habanero simple syrup in the jar of a high-powered blender.

Blend until smooth.

Fill a shaker with 3-4 ice cubes (don’t use too many, as the margarita ingredients fill the shaker most of the way).

Pour in the mango mixture, 4 and ½ oz (135 ml) tequila, 1 and ½ oz (45 ml) grand Marnier, and 3 oz (90 ml) lime juice.

Shake until combined.

Strain evenly into the prepared glasses.

Add a few ice cubes to each glass, garnish with mint leaves and serve immediately!

Pro Tips By Neha
Try using fresh mangoes for the best flavor. If you can’t find fresh mangoes, you can use frozen ones instead. Just make sure to thaw them before using them.
Habanero peppers can be very spicy, so start with one and add more to the taste. If you don’t like spice, you can omit the habanero peppers from the recipe. Also, make sure to wash your hands thoroughly after touching them.
Be sure to use fresh lime juice for the best flavor. You can also add a lime wedge to each drink for garnish.
If you want your margaritas to be extra cold, try freezing the mangoes before adding them to the blender.
This recipe makes two servings, but it can easily be doubled or tripled if needed.
Add some more sugar syrup if you like your drink sweeter.
Salt the rim of your glasses for a perfect finishing touch.
