    About Milo Milkshake

Milo Milkshake is a delicious and creamy milkshake prepared with just 5 ingredients – whole milk, Milo powder, vanilla ice cream, instant coffee powder, sugar, and ice cubes.

This 2 minutes milkshake is perfect to enjoy on a hot summer day or can be enjoyed during your evening tea.

This recipe is vegetarian and can be easily doubled or tripled.

    What Is Milo

Milo is a chocolate-flavored malted powder (nestle product) that is mixed with milk, hot water, or a mix of both to make a beverage. This powder is used in the milkshake to add a chocolaty taste to it.

As it is prepared with malt barley along with 8 vitamins and minerals, it is very healthy to include in your everyday diet. It gives you the required energy and is considered to be great for your overall health.

This powder is not vegan as it has milk powder added to it. So if you are lactose intolerant, then avoid drinking this shake.

    Ingredients

    Milo milkshake ingredients

Just 5 simple ingredients and you have a creamy milkshake ready in minutes. You will need whole milk, Milo powder, vanilla ice cream, instant coffee powder, sugar, and ice cubes.

I like to use whole milk (full-fat milk) for a creamy milkshake. However, you can use skim milk or low-fat milk as well.

Instant coffee powder is optional, but it is highly recommended as it makes the milkshake taste like an iced coffee. You can skip it if making the shake for kids.

Adjust the sugar as per your taste.

    How To Make Milo Milkshake

Freeze 2 cups of whole milk for an hour.

    Add

    • slightly frozen milk
    • 4 tablespoon Milo powder
    • 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream
    • ½ teaspoon instant coffee powder
    • 2 tablespoon sugar

    to a blender.

Add 2-3 ice cubes to each serving glass and pour the milkshake over the ice.

Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and serve immediately.

    Serving Suggestions

Milo Milkshake can be enjoyed at any time of the day – breakfast, snack, or an evening beverage. It is also a great drink to prepare for kids as an after-school snack.

    Storage Suggestions

I will recommend it to make it fresh, as it just takes 2 minutes to bring it together.

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight glass container in the refrigerator for about a day. Stir it well before consuming it.
