I am not a milk drinker, and neither is my son. I got a tin of Milo as a gift, along with many other goodies from the brand, a few days back. I tried making this milkshake using it, and it actually tasted good. I can now relish milk this way occasionally. Try it!

About Milo Milkshake

Milo Milkshake is a delicious and creamy milkshake prepared with just five ingredients: whole milk, Milo powder, vanilla ice cream, instant coffee powder, sugar, and ice cubes.

This 2-minute milkshake is perfect for a hot summer day or during your evening tea. It is also a great drink to prepare for kids as an after-school snack.

What Is Milo

Milo is a chocolate-flavored malted powder (Nestle product). It is mixed with milk, hot water, or both to make a beverage. This powder adds a chocolaty taste to milkshakes.

It is prepared with malt barley and added vitamins and minerals, so it is healthy to include in your diet. It gives you the required energy and is considered great for overall health.

This powder is not vegan, as milk powder is added to it. So, if you are lactose intolerant, avoid drinking this shake.

Ingredients

Milo milkshake ingredients

Just five simple ingredients, and you have a creamy milkshake ready in minutes. You will need whole milk (full-fat milk), Milo powder, vanilla ice cream, instant coffee powder, sugar, and ice cubes.

I like to use whole milk (full-fat milk) for a creamy milkshake, but you can also use skim milk or low-fat milk.

Instant coffee powder is optional but highly recommended as it makes the milkshake taste like an iced coffee. You can skip it if you are making the shake for kids.

Adjust the sugar as per your taste.
