Mooli Ka Lachha or Grated Radish salad is a North Indian recipe, that is simple and easy to make. Mooli is often consumed in it’s raw form, as salads and has a peculiar bitter taste. It is often used in pickles such as the Spicy Pickled Radishes, as an ingredient in gravy dishes like the Mooli Ke Patte Wali Moong Dal as well as dry dishes such as Mooli Ke Patton Ki Bhujia.
This Mooli Lachha or Mooli Ki Choori just needs a few ingredients to put together, and can be served with any Indian style meal. Besides its being great on nutrition and health, radish also helps control cholesterol and is a good source of vitamins.

Wash and peel the Radish. Grate them using a grater.
Add chopped green chilies, salt, lemon juice and fresh coriander and mix well.
Keep aside for 10 minutes before serving.

- 250 g Mooli / Radish
- 2 Green chili Chopped
- Salt to taste
- 3 tsp Lemon juice
- 2 tbsp Fresh coriander Chopped
- Wash and peel the Radish.
- Grate them using a grater.
- Add chopped green chilies, salt, lemon juice and fresh coriander and mix well.
- Keep aside for 10 minutes before serving.
- Serve along with any Indian style meal.
