I am on a spree to learn to make popular coffee drinks served at popular cafes. They are honestly so easy to make, but are sold at an exorbitant price. I tried this hazelnut-flavored latte yesterday, and it turned out pretty good. Sharing the recipe with you all!

About Hazelnut Latte

This Starbucks Copycat Hazelnut Latte is just your classic latte with hazelnut syrup.

This drink is sweet and comforting and comes together in 5 minutes using 3 ingredients.

Making this espresso-based coffee at home is much more economical than buying a cup at Starbucks. Moreover, you can customize it to your taste.

Enjoy it warm on a chilly winter morning or evening, or make a cold version to relish on a hot summer day.

Ingredients

Hazelnut latte ingredients

Espresso Coffee – You can use an espresso maker to make the espresso at home.

If you don’t have an espresso machine, you can brew strong coffee in a regular coffee pot, French press, or moka pot. You can also use Instant coffee powder dissolved in water.

Cold Brew coffee also works well for this drink recipe.

Milk – I prefer whole milk in my coffee to make it rich and creamy, but you can also choose from skim or low-fat options.

For a vegan version, use plant-based milk, such as almond, coconut, oat, or soy milk.

Hazelnut Syrup – I used Monin’s hazelnut syrup. You can buy any brand that you like.

Hazelnut Latte FAQs

How to make a chilled hazelnut latte?

To make it chilled, fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour cooled-down espresso and hazelnut syrup over ice, then stir to combine. Top with cooled-down frothed milk and stir well. Serve.

What’s the difference between a hazelnut latte and a hazelnut cappuccino?

A hazelnut latte has more steamed milk and a creamier texture, while a hazelnut cappuccino has more foam and a stronger coffee flavor.

Can I make a hazelnut latte without syrup?

Yes. You can use hazelnut paste, homemade hazelnut milk, or finely ground roasted hazelnuts blended into milk for a more natural flavor.
